The music is there if you're listening for it but not awful . They rarely use their PA system.
I have never noticed the music and the only announcements were reminders for employees to straighten up their departments. I like Smith's and the helpful and friendly people that work there.
Music is not loud. PA announcements are rare. Meat and produce selections are always fresh.
It's a normal grocery store environment. My personal favorite store locally.
