Do I need an appointment to get a replacement social security card, I tried online and its telling me my drivers license doesn't match the file.

You can just walk in and fill out a form available on site to speed the process up when you get called to a window

You don't need an appointment, you can walk in. Sometimes it is faster if you make an appointment so you don't have to wait in line.
