Iam guessing someone there has a heart. These guys work 6 days a week for minimum wages. They deserve a day off on Sunday with their families.
As someone who knows the owner, I will tell you why. Sunday's used to be open from 9-3. However, a lot of workers would not show up on Sunday's, and some Sunday's there just wasn't enough business. Furthermore, the staff count is down 30% from two years ago. It really wasn't worth opening for. So the owner decided to give the guys a day off instead of opening for a few hours on Sunday.
