I'm getting Lasik and my cost here is just north of $5000. There are different procedures with different costs, and different providers have different prices. As far as being a candidate, he's going to have to have a consultation with a doctor as there are just too many variables.

Hi Lori– we're excited to hear your son is interested in getting his vision correction. Vision correction is life changing! At 20, your son should have reached ocular maturity– the point at which the eyes are done developing and prescription has stabilized. So he is in the prime age for vision correction. However, to verify ocular maturity, and to assess whether he is a candidate for vision correction, he would need to see our team of vision correction experts in office for a consultation. There are seven different vision correction procedures, and it is important to see which is the best fit for his unique eyes. If you have other questions or would like to schedule a consultation, please call our team at 402-558-2211 any time. Thanks!
