Are dogs still allowed on the beach here? We brought our dog but there were signs by the beach access that said no dogs.

There are a few section of Canova Beach. There is one section that is specifically marked for dogs. It is a nice beach great parking/restroom area and nice space for the dogs.

There is only one parking for the dog beach section, you go in and turn right.

Yes they allow dogs there. Access the rights side of the parking lot favoring the beach

Yes we had our dog on the beach last week. You have to enter the beach on the south entrance. That's the dog beach. The entrance to the north is for people only

When you come into Canova you have to go towards the bathrooms that is the side where they allow the dogs

Maybe you were at the wrong entrance. Unless the rules have changed, we were at Canova Beach on June 30, 2020 and we brought our 3 dogs. We're from out of town so we used our navigation (I didn't type in the address I just used voice command and said "directions to Canova Dog Beach" and the directions led us right to the entrance to the beach that allowed dogs. In fact, they even had a water station at the entrance next to the parking lot to clean dogs (and people) off from all the sand. It was a great beach! Lots of space and a lot of happy dogs!
