Northern courses like national had & sandpiper had terrible greens. Courses west of myrtle were fine at the beginning of May
Average greens... Municipal style course. Splurge on a nice one if you want fast plush greens.
Only a couple greens had spots. Played it all winter and the first week of May. Greens are in better shape than a lot of courses. I would play it this week were I there!
They are a little rough but you should be fine in 3 weeks
The way winter was, I think you'll be hard pressed to find any course that didn't get beat up a little bit. Pearl is always a great course for the price.
Very true, the greens are average and still growing in.
