Beach House Recovery sounds like a vacation resort. Little did I know, it would become the "vacation" that I needed from the chaos that had turned my life upside down. Soon after my arrival, I became willing to accept what they had to offer, mental, physical and most importantly, spiritual help. That set the wheels in motion, and as a result, I started getting well. After 18 months, I returned to my family. Now, I'm living a happy, joyous and free life as a result of the program and my stay. I'm grateful for the leadership and thank God for Beach House Recovery.

I have been to many places in my life an no place like beach house in calabash NC. Chad, Tony, and Matt gave me not just knowledge, but showed me I wasn't alone. That what I thought I was going threw alone was going on all around the world. Showed me the difference between addiction an phenomenon of craving. Showed and explained the steps to a T. The brother hood you get when you arrive is like no other!!!! When I say they will give you the shirt off there back I mean it. I learned that it's not about helping myself, but to help others an go threw this with people who suffer the same fate. I thank you beach house!!!! You gave me something I haven't had since I was a child an that's hope. I'll never forget you guys an I hope to see each an everyone of you on different terms. Much love from all of me

BHR is something special!! They are open and willing to take in anyone who needs help with addiction. The structure they have with their program is beyond words, they are focused on the Steps and Traditions and they live that every day. Yes ma’am that’s correct. Our minimum age requirement is 21. The date of birth section of our application states the age requirements for applicants.
Hello this program does not have a time frame. For many of us, cookie-cutter one size fits all programs did not work. We believe that everyone recovers at their own pace.
I wish there was a simple answer but every stage and level of our program has different privileges and benefits. A guy who is here n6 months can leave on pass for several days at time while a guy who is here six weeks can not leave at all and may not have visitors. You can find these details on our website under “guidelines.”
