The administration side for hospital is rude and talked down to my girlfriend causing her to relapse go out get drugs and try to commit suicide on days 4/07/18. The supervisor Mike was extremely rude as well daring me to try to call someone higher

First of all Anthony, I apologize for your unfortunate experience at River Oaks. That's where my journey began. I'm not sure exactly what y'alls issue was with Admin, but I can and will say IF AN INDIVIDUAL WANTS TO HONESTLY GET CLEAN AND FREE OF THE GORILLA ON THEIR BACK, YOU WILL LET NOTHING OR ANYBODY STAND IN YOUR WAY!!! We have to stop, and think past outside factors rather then BLAMING SOMEONE for Our shortcomings! It's part of the actual working on changing the one thing about our lives and that one thing is EVERYTHING! PLEASE, if you/she REALLY wants to get help, you pick YOURSELF UP and TRY, TRY, TRY AGAIN. Funny how the DEVIL works against us even when we THINK WE'RE DOING RIGHT, and we hit another one of LIFE'S ROAD BLOCKS.... Just know, y'all are NOT ALONE! RIVER OAKS SAVING MY LIFE! I'm still a VERY active outpatient. YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU PUT Y'ALLS MIND AND HEARTS INTO...! Chase recovery as hard as you chased that next fix... TRUST ME.. IT'S WORTH IT.

I understand completely what he is saying. I myself want to recover more than I want to breath but recovery starts with detox for some drugs. With me it is heroin. Everyday I call river oaks and they say call tomorrow is another day I must go buy more drugs to not get sick until I can get into detox. I think you misunderstood what he was saying and I think you were rather harsh with him when he is clearly trying to voice a problem with a system that is supposed to be helping and isn't. I don't understand why most common I read about people who keep getting told to call back everytime they call it is always a female who is calling for help.

Please forgive my blunt answer, we are in control of our own actions. Your girlfriend had a choice. She made her choice

Detoxing is not about anybody "making you feel good"about yourself. NOBODY on the staff made or caused your girlfriend to relapse and nobody causef her to commit suicide. SHE made both decisions , using somebody else as her "reason". YOU are doing the same thing.You are lying ONLY to YOURSELF. ..you"re not fooling anybody but you.
