You don't want to drive in New Orleans. There is no parking. Leave your car at the hotel and take a trolly, bus, cab, Uber or walk. It's very easy to get around on their public transport. And cheap! I paid $3 for a 2 day bus pass. Also, if you take the bus tour of New Orleans, you can get off and on for 2 days.
