Is there a way to walk along the River from the docked cruise ship to the Quarter? We are on Celebrity docked from Feb 11th until Feb 13 evening.

You can walk, but a bit of a hike.

Take the elevator up to Riverwalk shops and exit the other end to start your walk along the linear park at the waterfront. It is about a 1 mile walk and will avoid some of the necessary twists and turns via the streets. St Louis Cathedral will be just a little farther past the JAX building signs

How long does it take to Frech Quarter?

Yes

We actually caught an uber because we had a lot to carry and it is a hike, it was also very hot

You can absolutely walk! It's a bit of a hike, but we were on a similar cruise last year and did just that a time or two. There's also trolleys and of course Uber.

There is no road just by the river unfortunately, buildings get in the way.
