Seeing the response of the restaurant makes me not want to go. You might want a better PR person. Plus, tell your waitstaff to inform customers. It's a simple courtesy.
Thank you for the not so subtle, condescending response . I especially enjoyed the gas station comparison.
So do you have to pay for water and ice and a rental fee for the cups? Lol. Makes sense still needs to be included that sodas cost money. I spent 12$ on 3 refills gingerale for myself because I waited for my food that long of time. when i saw the bill I took offense. But hey all that does Makes me not want to come back I spent 240$ on a family of 4 and alcohol. it's not the soda value it's the courtesy. if you dont want the staff to mention it then put it on the menu and proof read the menu it has errors.
Do you put the can on the table or just fill the glass and walk away with the can? Because if you leave it on the table people normally know you need to pay for refills. If you don't shame on you because a lot of nice restaurants do have free soda refills so I would want to know also if they are not. I would tho if you left the can on the table. And I agree cans are so much better than fountain drinks.
Wow Anthony's response is the sole reason I'm not going to this place for brunch today! Holy moly! Do y'all import canister O2 to provide the patrons with the finest breathing experience too?
