A C rating never stays up for weeks! That's a serious infraction rating or multiple infractions that the restaurant has to take care of immediately or risk having their doors closed. The inspector may give them one week to correct the issues that gave them that low of a grade. I was there just last week and it was at an A. The whole place looked spotless and the whole staff was constantly cleaning. It was fantastic! I can't wait to go back!!
When restaurants get a C rating they have a few weeks before the the inspector comes back to make sure the issues are fixed. So a restaurant never had it actually in the door for now than a few weeks. But for them to get it when they get inspected, is pretty common for every Chinese restaurant in town. You can decide if that makes it feel safe to you or not.
It definitely has a C rating. It is on the door. I was just there and saw it about an hour ago. Not sure that this is a safe place to eat.
