This is not a walk-in clinic. You do need to have an appointment. In order to become a patient you need to live in Aiken county with no insurance coverage and be diagnosed with one of the following chronic conditions: COPD, diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, seizures, high cholesterol, or thyroid issues. If you do then you qualify to go through the screening process to become a patient at the clinic. At the screening appointment the social worker will explain how the clinic works, the rules of the clinic, and get your health history. If you qualify, then you will get the next available appointment with one of the clinics doctors. Everything is completely free at the clinic, including medications. The doctors, nurses, and pharmacists are volunteers and work out of the kindness of their hearts. All you have to do to make a screening appointment is call the clinic at 803-226-0636
