Yes . Its called Nyack beach on the nyack side and the hook mountain trail starts ( or ends) there. If you take the path all the way to the end you end up in Dutch town at Haverstraw .
Also adjacent to Rockland Lake State Park.
Yeah the two make a great 8 mile loop hike
Same area, though from the beach it's a long walk. You need to take the street to find the trail to reach the top of the mountain.
