You get a large locker fr urself in the bedroom. They won't provide the lock for free. If u want to buy it from them, it costs $6. So, u better got it own lock. Even after locking it, I wouldn't recommend storing anything valuable in it. The hostel does not take responsibility if they get stolen. So, just store ur clothes and stuff in it

Yes, you get a large free locker right next to your bed and it's encouraged not to use a standard padlock because they can be picked easily. (They actually have taped a warning about that in every locker). Alternatives to the lock? Unsure.
There is a big locker room where you can get a coded ticket to access your locker again, it was free the last time I stayed there years ago, no lock was needed.
