It's a beautiful, almost magical place. It's a natural spring so it stays 72 degrees year round. My advise on a hot day..jump right in don't ease into it💞

And the water is cold, which can take your breath away when you first get in. You have to adjust before just jumping in.
It is not dangerous, but snorkelers will be disappointed with what they can see. To see the rock formations and cave structure you need to be diving.
Not really, just a swimming hole. As long as you do not attempt to go cave diving without proper equipment. However I won't recommend to someone who can't swim unless they have a flotation device.
