I think 🤔 it is because of the pedestrian traffic SLOWS DOWN ALOT after 8pm in that area of Harlem.
Restock/Cleaning and it's not worth it to them being open that late most people get their groceries before 8pm
Probably due to people traffic after 8 pm is very slow. I am sure the store uses that time to clean and restock in order to be ready for the early morning opening. There is also the outside element to be considered and the safety of the employees. I see that security is very visible in the store, which is a good thing, so there must be a great concern.
Maybe due to homeless situation outside. Its too much for me I can't any longer. I go in pick up minor things I'm out. I must say I don't see them walking around in the store has improved a lot I guess too many complaints. They no longer attack the food bar what they do now is put the soda snacks in their clothing and watching you watching them lol😆😂. So I reach to the back for all my stuff Also they may still on covid hours
It was open late before covid 19 and never want to midnight...also there is an undesirable element polluting the area...
