Registration suspended due to lack of insurance back in November. My question is if I pay the $200 in person is my registration immediately restored or is there a delay?

Yes it will, is all done at the dmv. If you owe taxes on a car it has to be paid before registering a car

All the rules have changed so I'm not sure you might have it immediately because you're paying it in person
