A bill of sale is needed and if u have previous ct registration from the last owner u won’t need a title ur already charged $25 for a new title in ur name and wouldn’t be any extra otherwise without a previous Ct registration a title search would be needed.

If you have the Bill of Sale, you can go down there and ask for a duplicate which I believe is $10 or 20 in price. Bring the person that you bought the car from just in case, I did that for my Volkswagen.
