I'm trying to renew my registration online, but it says I need an emissions test. I have not received any notification in the mail. Help! Do I just go to a garage and have it done?

Yes. You can go to any emission center and have it done. You don't need license plate to show up but you can get one to drive there and they will do it for you. Just heads up, they close at 12 on Saturday and 4:30 to 5pm on weekdays.
