If I move at any point away from the area. Would I be able to change my home gym? Or will there be a fee to cancel it just to start a new membership at a new home gym?

Its been my experience with planet fitness when I moved there no problem looking up a local planet fitness, signing up and using gym with no extra charges. Membership is good for all their gyms in any State.

My understanding is you can use your membership wherever you go. I imagine there wouldn't be a fee but that could easily be waived by asking.
