That I don't know...If there are consecutive days of being absent, you would have to discuss that with your employer, in what there policies are....I would say if you know that you are you going to leave your job for longer time than expected, contact your employer right away...There are sick days, & vacation days with some companies, if and only if that have that, & a leave of absence can be granted from an employer with the right excuse, but you have to discuss with them first, if and if, they will let you have that time off, which would be without pay...
