Am I the only one who thinks this place has degenerated into a tourist trap aimed at those who happily pay $25 to go here because their travel tells them this a "must see" and come to take selfies with celebrety art pieces?

Yes 25 dollars, but with the same ticket you can enter for 3 days and you can enter in the met Breuer and the Cloisters too
