Annoying that I can't get at Google Maps while answering the question so that I can give you a pin. It's a good question and it's easy. You want to pass through historic Talcotville on Maine Street off of 83. Cross the iron bridge and a parking circle is at the end where the trail starts. There are signs marking the trail start. I love this area. It isn't along walk and the rail trail above the ravine have a lot signs describing the local history. The ravine itself is beautiful and you get a good view of canals and foundations that were once the mills. If you have time walk back into Talcotville and find a number of additional historical buildings and sign describing the history. Hope this helps! Ok, I have a pin and found my way back to my answer: Dropped pin Near 9-26 Main St, Vernon, CT 06066 https://maps.app.goo.gl/GpKP2oA8aT3AERWeA As you hike in from this direction you will come to a fork. Do follow the trail in both directions.
I couldn't find the parking based on google maps either. I parked in the Hop River trail parking lot and walked down from there. There's a lot if you search Talcottville Congregational that has much easier access
