In general, yes. But there are very large and intimidating animals here so it all depends on the demeanor of your child. The monkeys and large birds can be aggressive or load. The cats are generally docile but make a powerful noise when they roar. I have seen a lot of young kids there enjoying the experience, so just be aware of your child's opinion of large animals.
I believe a3 yr old would love to an would like to see the animals to I know my kids would love to have a good an fun time
