You must have identification that shows you're a resident of Bergen county. Then you can pay $15 for a day pass.
If you are not a Bergen county resident you can still go to the pool. Who ever says otherwise is incorrect. Non residents pay $20 for the day pass.

Bergen county residents over age 2 are $15... residents from other NJ counties pay $20 over age 2

If you're not a resident of Bergen County, you cannot use this pool. You can always come with a friend from Bergen County as their guest, but I believe there's a limit.
