Hi Danielle, if you're in need of shelter, you can walk into the office to get assigned a worker that will advocate on your behalf in getting shelter placement. Address: 129 Fulton St downtown manhattan. Please get there as early as 830am to be able to get a spot because they run out and there's a limit of people they see per day. Please bring as much documents you can that relates to the issues you've gone such as housing court evictions all Ids, SS cards, birth certificate for all children.

No they have to place you for 10 says until you get what they need to keep you permit
No they will place you in a shelter for 10 days temporary until they find you eligible so you can go even if they don't know a lot about you but you have to get all that paperwork together before 10 days
