Do you have children? You have to go to PATH in the Bronx. If you're single and over 21 you have a few places you can go. Please Google "single woman's shelter NY" and 2 places will come up. One in the Bronx and the other in Brooklyn. Bring a bag with you containing a few changes of clothes, a bar of soap, a pair of flip-flops for the showers, and sleep wear. You can't bring any glass bottles, scissors, pointy nail files and food.
