They say not be worried about the portions in the new black plates, but it clearly shows less food than the foam plate.

Its a nice portion

Portions are the same. The square plates are deeper and hold the same amount in a smaller area. I've asked my local PE to serve the same in both plates and weigh them. The difference was minor.

I haven't noticed a difference. It might just be the person who served it. The portions are based on the scoop, not the plate.

The new plates also replace the white foam containers as to-go boxes, they are using less plate ware
