Totally, went there for apps and drinks with my wife for a kidless night a week ago and it was great.
Saturday Night no reservations is fine for up or downstairs. Upstairs is more open air, while downstairs is more warm and compact. Id suggest downstairs for app and drinks. Upstairs for dinner date.

It's a great place. A reservation in advance will be helpful, especially if you request a table with the river view.
