Homeless veterans have some varied options in Gainesville FL. There is a VA only shelter at Grace Market Place that is clean and secure. It has a limited number of beds but it was available when I needed it after my apartment got condemned due to water damage. There are also other options that depending on your age might be better. The link below has a lot of information but should be useful to you. Personally I'd say Ocala has the best Veterans Homeless care for long term support based on how they treated my Uncle as he got older. My Dad is in the VA system now and will need long term care when he is released. Does the VA Medical Center i n Gainesville have a such a facility?
