Well I tried Leon county humane society and they took me through a rigorous process and still gave the puppy away after the family returned her. Panama city beach have beautiful puppies. I went to the website and checked them out, put in an application, was approved, and went down to the humane society to get him. He will be 1 years old next month.
Those interested in adopting from LCHS should first complete an adoption application on the website. You can display interest in more than one adoptable dog or cat per application. All foster parents volunteer their time, so please allow up to one week for the foster to follow up. Keep in mind, some animals receive numerous applications and our goal is to act as a matchmaker between people and adoptable pets.
