Yes, you need your ondorsement for anything over 49cc .
In Florida, you only need a driver's license for any street legal cycle 50cc and below. Any cycle or scooter larger than 50cc requires a motorcycle endorsement. Laws vary by state. And, most cycles that say 50cc are actually 49.9cc or smaller just in case a state law is written to say it must be "under" 50cc.
