Just visited this Mc Donalds drive thru where the employee told me, thru the ordering speaker, they could not take any orders because they just lost power. For those who don't see the irony in that...feel free to read it again.

The speakers probably run on a different circuit. That circuit is still live while the circuit that handles the kitchen is out.

They can easily just speak through the windows but the managers at that mcdonald's are a little too incompetent to think of that idea

That's funny. There powers out but yet they need power to speak threw that speaker. Sorry employees
