I have a martial arts sword that I wish to practice with in a big open space, without any ill intention to damage any property or harm any persons, simply to practice for kenjutsu. Am I allowed to bring it on park grounds? Thank you.

Good question. I would definitely inform the nearest sheriff and let them know because you will be getting 911 called on you most certainly.goodluck

There are County Police in the park. Good idea to ask them

There are multiple areas within the park with which is not near the children like the workout area near the tracks and wide open soccer field. I would recommend that area and check with the parks department about bringing it in for training.

I agree about checking in with the Parks department and sheriff. The park is very busy alot of the time. There are also dance studios in JC that might be willing to rent you practice space.

Ali Abdelwahab first of all parks are for families, and persons enjoying sitting reading playing with babies and toddlers. Dog walkers.why would you ask questions like just wanting open space in a park for kenjutsu..+martial arts sword..you can't be serious
