Rob is correct,make reservations
Like others have said it is extremely busy. Make reservations early. You can standby, or keep checking the online reservation system for openings.
It gets extremely busy on the weekends. I would prepare myself for waiting like 45-60 minutes. Howdver the food comes out really quick.
On weekends it gets really busy. If you get there before 9am, the line won't be too bad. There's private small parking lot, or parking meters on la brea.
Breakfast and brunch is a nightmare, dinner is actually a little bit more reasonable if you're coming in early I've found
The line is long but because they don't do traditional table service and the place is huge, it moves pretty quick. You order your food at the counter, where that long line stops, then sit anywhere and wait for them to bring out your food/drinks. Felt way faster than having servers come to your table to take your order. What would have been an hour+ wait for sunday brunch anywhere else took 20 minutes at republique.
Reservation is recommended.
It depends. You can hit it one minute and are in line inside the door. 10 minutes later the line can be out the door and up the block. The worst are those who go inside to order "to go" then just sit and eat it when they get it. (There's a separate cashier for to-go orders)
Absurdly busy. Lines out the door and down the street.
Very busy, best enjoyed on weekdays if possible.
