Yes you will need a visa to travel in Turkey. You can easily get it on line, or go to the Turkish embassy if you are near one, they also offer visas once you arrive. Though I recommend getting one beforehand. Also make sure the borders are open. I am sure they are but In 2017 I was going to visit. I called my friend that lived there and actually found out they had closed all travel into Turkey for Americans in response to the US closing its borders first to Turkish citizens. So I could not go. Also check travel safety sites.
