Insufficient number of staff. They cannot start your transactions at your appointment time. I waited a whole hour. On top of that, when you ask how many people you have, you can't even get an answer. Very sad.

People at this facility are performing as best as they can.
Consulate serves at a new location.
Google Maps team is reluctant and lazy to update Turkish Consulate General's new address!!
One wouldn't expect it from such a top tier company.

I have obtained an e-visa to travel to Istanbul, Turkey on the 24th of October 2017. I am confused about the latest news on Turkish visas and travel. Will I be able to travel to Istanbul for three days as planned?

How did you get it? Since October 3rd, Visas were not being issued ny the Turkish government. There hasn't been a drop down option for U.S. citizens to purchase an electronic visa since the ban occured. I purchased mine in July when it was still available and can currently travel becsuse its good for 6 months. I just read today that you can now get a visa at the Turkish consulates but not at the airport nor online yet.

Foreigners who are eligible to obtain e-visa, type A and B, must obtain their visas/e-visas prior to their travelsince they will not be able to obtain the relevant e-visa upon their arrival at the border of Turkey, effective fromOctober 29, 2018. (Edited)

You need a Visa to go to Turkey. You can get it ahead of time or at the airport when you arrive to Turkey, they can provide you without one immediately.
i am a USA citizen. We are travelling to turkey on April 1st. Can we apply for visa now or when can we apply. Please let me know how early we can apply before leaving USA and also how long does it take to get eVisa

You don't need to go there , you can get your Visa from www.evisa.gov.tr
I want to travel to Antalya in December to meet a friend. Is it safe for me to go there? I have heard mixed things about the safety for tourists there. Some people say it’s fine to visit and others say it’s under siege.
