Why was my check for a clothes dryer rejected by some entity called TELE CHECK? On 8-2-2022 I submitted a check ($713.07)for the dryer and it was spit back out by the check machine and the sales person said "I never saw that before"

It could have been a machine error, but more than likely it is the check itself and I would check with your bank.

Sounds like it might be on your end with the transaction party

You'd want to check with your bank, if you haven't already. Most businesses that accept checks nowadays print on the check and the person at the register will hand it right back to you.
