Yes, XD is better.. like going from dvd to blu-ray. Haven't heard of XDUP.
Lotsa strange answers here Its Extreme Digital sound. They only have one XD theater screen which is a lil larger then the others and the seats are spread farther apart and more comfy. For more info call the theater.

Im not sure. I know XD Is more expensive. I believe both are supposed to be better graphics, etc.
