We do not have an automatic gratuity fee and have absolutely no idea where this came from. Our registers ask IF the customer would like to leave a tip, the amount, and an option to decline. We serve hundreds of customers who do not leave a tip and hundreds that do. Some customers appreciate the option to leave one. Our customer service standards are for all our customers— whether a tip is left or not.
My wife told me about the automatic gratuity fee, I asked the question based on that. After I read the answer from the owner, that there's no gratuity fee, I asked my wife about it. She said she must have made a mistake, so I apologized to the owner and I just want to say it was excellent food and sorry for the misunderstanding. OSH
Is this a joke? If course they will still serve you! But any place reserves the right to not serve someone.
