It's a old movie theater. Not sure when any money was put into it. The seats are worn and not upgraded but in this area it seems the Norm. Prices are cheap so can't believe there will be up grading soon. A good cleaning and money put into it would help. It's only as dirty as the people that use it. So throw your trash away.
Since amc purchased, effort has been made to clean seating. It was pretty dire in the past, but earlier reviews are out of date, at least for the 4 rooms i have seen. The statements saying the theater lacks good seating is surprising. It is not huge lounge chairs that tilt and swivel found in an ultra modern imax, but they are padded, have cup holders, and handled 250lb people in group. They are positioned so height of rows allows viewing for all unless an exceptionally tall person is in front. They have started to show classics, which are fun to see up on a bigger screen. If they continue to keep up on the upholstery cleaning, things will work out.
It not as bad as what some of the comment say. My shoes have never stuck to the floor and the come through between ever movie to sweep an remove trash.
I went in to 2 movies recently and did not see the state it was in from some of the older posts with pictures from reviews. I saw some of the pics people posted of the stains and broken seats and such but I think since then I did read somewhere that some years ago they cleaned the place up a bit. I was expecting to see it in that shape and it was not the case. I went to 2 movies in 2 different theatres there and it was clean and not in disrepair. The people were friendly, bathrooms clean and theater was not crowded. Me and my family had a good experience seeing The Lion King and me my wife went back to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and was pleasant as well.
It was not bad when i last visited. As mentioned it as clean as people respect it. People do leave trash instead of carrying it to the trash cans located just outside each door.
