I have an old house that I need to add big wall pictures, but nails and screws will not go in the wall. Any suggestions or advice

Depending how heavy the pictures are, I've used self adhesive Velcro strips.

Drill a hole with a power drill and use plastic wall anchors that come with screws.

I have used gorilla hooks. They are pushed into the wall leaving a small hole. They have a hook that goes up into the wall. You can look into it.

Sheetrock... I think we use something called gorilla hooks which was kind of like an S and it holds a lot of weight
