I'd recommend parking at top of the trail and walking down. You can take a shuttle back up to your vehicle for $5 per person. You'll be carrying your toddler periodically as the trail is quite long. Many people hike this trail with young children.
Allot of stairs
I recommend watching a video on YouTube from the safety of your couch. When your child is about 10 then you can properly enjoy the park as a family.
There are over 800 steps fron top to bottom. At the main entrance is the mouth of the gorge with a beautiful waterfall and more. Ideal for a toddler !
It is not easyfor children to walk
There are no shuttles to the water falls the only access is via walking the trail which is full of many flights of stairs
