Yes, the courts offer quite a bit of DIY help. There are many things that you can do without a lawyer, but the divorce area is one place where it is incredibly complex. It is not uncommon that I have clients come to me after they have struggled to fill out the forms and follow the many procedures and rules which the courts have imposed on divorces.

You can get a divorce packet from the Supreme Court Clerk's Office which is in the Criminal Court Building on State Street across from the Courthouse (or hire a lawyer).
