My Mother is 85, so she has been drawing benefits for 20 years. Her husband of 14 years just abandoned her. My question for her is she due additional benefits from him? She is only separated at this time. Husband filed on hers to get what he has!

Sounds like she is getting more than he is. If that's the case, won't do any good to file on his. The spouse USUALLY gets less do to less income during their life. Hope this helped. If not go to ssa.gov for further info.
