Idk. I had a PS2 that did that and when i took it apart it had a bunch f pet hair in it that was causing it to overheat, vaccumed it out and it was all good. It could also mean that the hard drive is failing. You could always try replacing that. I had A PS3 but never had this issue. Good luck.
