Soaking tubs (and showers and wet massage areas) are in the male/female segregated locker room areas, where you enter first. That said, I love visiting King Spa with my husband. We just start and end our visits with some alone time in our respective locker rooms. It's easy to meet up together in the restaurant at an agreed upon time after a shower and soak.
Yes, the jacuzzy/wet area is gender specific, but the saunas and lounging areas are not. I did see plenty of couples having a relaxing time.
