Is it still customary to throw peanut shells onto the floor? I've had very mixed reviews as to the correct answer.

I have never seen anyone throw shells on the floor at five guys.

It has fallen out of custom to throw discarded shells on the floor for many reasons, therefore it is now frowned upon to do so but this is America so we have choices to do as we please mostly.
