To rent any car you have to be 25, have a driver's license, credit card I've always had insurance but I don't remember being asked for proof of insurance

They need you to be 25 or older, you need to have a valid driver's license, as well as a credit or debit card. When you rent the car, they do not charge you until you return the vehicle. They do put a $200 hold on whatever card you use, as like a deposit. This gets refunded as soon as the car is returned.
